Bulma Bar
A simple, elegant and tailored website solution for weekly menu updates.
The Challenge
The main objective of the website was to offer the owners and managers the ability to easily apply updates to their food and cocktail selection. Always in the search to use fresh and unique ingredients, Bulma Bar required a solution that would make menu changes frictionless.
The Solution
The result is a custom-built Content Management System created in collaboration with the Bulma team. Using Craft CMS, the back-end is simple to use and includes all the elements the staff would want to update.
Thanks to Google Analytics, we've found that 52% of visits on the bulma bar website are on mobile phones.
Having experience in the restaurant industry and a large data sample, we discovered that a large majority of restaurant-goers base their going-out decisions on their mobile device. These learnings guided our decision making and we produced a light-weight, single-page browsing experience that places the most valuable information at the customer's fingertips. Location, reservation, hours of operation and menu are easy to access resulting in a seamless and rapid experience.
Mateo is so meticulous. The site he's built for our team gives us the flexibility to change the menu that same day without having the need to design or code., Co-Owner at Bulma Bar
Following the Brand
Based on the identity design, created by Gabriel Dufresne, we explored a few variations of the site. While initially, we wanted to have a progression in color as you scrolled through the page, we decided that a simpler approach overall would be beneficial to the end-user.
