About the App
1st Incident is a cloud-based incident reporting app & web software for an efficient solution to save all your reports online, instead of reporting on paper. It's a tool that makes it easy for a company to have its' field workers document activities and generate actionable reports of field events.
The Challenge
The company behind 1st Incident Reporting, Emappetizer, came to me with a few problems they were having: the app was hard to use, difficult to understand for first-time users, complicated and hard to navigate. They needed design help to give their users a new UI (user interface), which not only was nicer in design but also nicer and easier to use the software — which works hand in hand with the users' experience and ultimately reflects on the brand image.




The Project Scope
As the UI & UX designer and consultant for this project, I started the project by doing a detailed breakdown of their app. From branding & logo design, app store mockups, Mobile App Design, Desktop App Design, I touched on everything associated with the app, so that we could improve on it and make it all cohesive. This app redesign project started off as only a Mobile App Redesign but ended up being a dozen big projects, spread out in a few years of work, which inevitably, I developed a good relationship with the entire 1st Incident Reporting team.
